Re: Die-cast 67-72
I actually cancelled my order when I learned it was not ready for shipment. My hope was that JL would come out with a single, but that has not occurred either. Did you order one?
Here it is in an single - http://dcastalley.stores.yahoo.net/jolibdere2bc1.html

Re: Die-cast 67-72
OK. www.milezone.com finally loaded a picture today. Same single for $1.00 less. I like the one with the tractor better; chrome wheels, green top. I'll probably get both though.
I'm waiting to order the single though. Milezone has a 6-piece set listed under County Roads that is supposed to have a '68 Chevy C-10 Pickup; no pic though. I don't know who makes the County Roads, so I'm waiting on a pic; and maybe they will be selling singles. Quote:

Re: Die-cast 67-72
For you guys that are interested in painting models an original color, I have a sample I'd sell. I was looking for paint for my truck and had two samples mixed up. One I like, the other isn't what I thought it would be, but it is an original color for a 1972 truck, GMC only. It's called Terrace blue on the autocolorlibrary.com site and looks like a slightly darker version of medium green. It's a half pint mix and cost me $10.50, but I'd I'd make a deal for someone interested in putting it to use. Just PM me.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Is this the dark green you're talking about? If so, this is from the Radical Wrestlers series of 5 cars/trucks.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Hot Wheels 2007 Treasure Hunt. The loose one is the Super. It has real riders (rubber tires) and spectraflame paint. The carded one is a Regular Treasure Hunt. You can't really tell a difference in the paint with these two pics.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
You could take the lighter color green 69 put the wheels from a Disney Pixar CARS McQueen on there. Paint the wheels white to resemble your wagon wheels. The McQueen wheels are little larger though.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I`d like to know how to do axles/wheels.That truck of yours is the factory color I was thinking of,sometimes listed as dark green and other times as Woodland Green. It`s also a fleet color.I ordered my`92 GMC that color.Makes it rare.
![]() I have a can of a dull green that would come closer to the fade on your truck, without the patina. You`d have to talk to Bugsy about that. ![]()

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Yep I could do a truck like that and make it look weathered just like the real one. If you wanted a rotwheels size or a 1/24 I think I have one of those models in 1/24 I might have a 1/64 too
