Re: project (sweet pea)
Got the door glass installed today and the vent wings.as well as some sound deadner in the doors...Could of used an extra set of hands but I managed, and with no scratches either...So all in all it was a good day..Still need to get a Anti rattle kit....( i just have some ole ones in there till the new ones come in.....Fuel line is all secured in (just waiting on a new fuel pump..The one I bought wont work with my A/N fittings (its a push on style hose) so I had to upgrade to an Edelbrock unit..Should be here next week...My new balancer came in...(they sent me the wrong one). Radiator is supposed to be here by Friday so I am looking forward to Starting this thing......Anyways...few pics of the glass in.....Still need to get the tint off one of the vent wings....But all in all....I am digging the NO tint this time around.....

Re: project (sweet pea)
You'll be sleeping in her before long. She's pretty! It's amazing how something so simple such as glass makes it start really coming together.

Looking good Tony. Every time i see your truck i am impressed. And still love the color. Out of curiousity are you going to run mirrors on the doors and if so which ones? Thanks

Re: project (sweet pea)
VA72C10.....Yeah I agree....Before the frame off....I had all the windows tinted including the windshield, with 5% limo black...It was ok i thought it looked good on the red..But For now i like the clean look of (non) tint for the green.......
Richard I tell ya...Once I got all the glass in it was like WOW.......Its a truck again..lol 88jrfan.......At this point I am still undecided on mirrors.....I ran 3 inch peep mirrors before and really did not like them..They looked ok but the passenger side was all but useless..... |

Sounds cool. I always snatch all of the electric fans I can from our body shop. Never know when you might need one

Re: project (sweet pea)
Tony,
It was great to see you and Andy again, I had a blast. I am suprized we got anything done with the 3 of us Your little girl is ADORABLE!!!! The pics of this truck do it no justice you have to se it to really apperciate all the hard work Tony has put in to this truck, all I can say is WOW!!! The wiring went smooth and Andy and I made a good team, well at least when Tony turned the key nothing smoked and after a little hiccup she roared to life letting all the neighbors know what is to come Tony thanks again for inviting me up for the fun and I hope to do it again soon..... maybe this time I can get a ride

Re: project (sweet pea)
Ditto to the above!
Let me say, that U-tube vid does NOTHING to represent how BAD ASS that thing sounds with the open headers. And, like Randy said, the pics don't do it justice either. i never cared for the color he picked... till I saw it in person. Randy, total bummer you couldn't stick around for the swap meet sunday morning, but, family does come before truck dudes... I remember my ex tellin me that. Re: project (sweet pea)
Well Finally after 5 days Jegs sent me a new fuel pump gasket to replace my torn one.....Also I had to change the Thermostat Housing back to the original...3 gaskets and the Chrome one still leaked.....It took just one for the original one....I am hoping to do a side bed side job to get the seat done....
