Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Looking good! Sorry about the unexpected A/C expense....ours has been freezing up but with zero budget to repair it I just let it thaw out (house gets super stifling hot inside) and then turn it back on...only a matter of time before we have to replace as well....

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

The bad thing was I had a guy put a new ''a coil'' in the inside unit because I cleaned it a few days earlier and thought thats where the leak had to be. Turns out the leak was on the bottom of the accumilator on the outside unit. Oh well I have the old units for sale on craigslist now so maybe I can get a little back.
I like the new unit better though. Its the right size for my house. I've been working on a buddys bicycles so he and his wife can ride but I'll get back on the truck soon.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Ok so I have finished my buds bikes and have been buying some parts for my truck. I decided to go back with original seat belts and not the 3 point. I found some on here (3 person set) and the next day while junkin I found some a little nicer. But they didn't have the middle set. So I'll keep the middle if I need it later. I am buying some bucket seats, console etc from a guy over on the blazer parts board.I'll have to get some seat covers for them of corse.

I have also decided to continue selling a few parts here. I was trying to cut down and not clutter up the basement so much but my addiction does this to me>

I know that feeling but it's been a blessing for me to have the parts to sell as my main career had been so slow...

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Those will look nice when recovered! If you go stock style...board vendor truckseats has great covers...a step above the quality of PUI and other suppliers for not much more...

Yeah I will when i get to that point. I wonder if there was a plain set of inserts that would match the original metal door panel lines? I think that would tie them together a bit even though they aren't year correct.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

No I didn't have them yet. I've been on the fence about them because some of them looked like crap. I know that safety is the most important thing but I just couldn't find any I liked. I went with a real good looking original set.

btw lets see that 67 GMC man. I've been waiting on a thread about it since you got it. I'm "jonesin" LOL

My wife got me some speaker brackets for my birthday. They came from bigblock73 here on the board. I'm sure some of you guys have seen them.
