Thanks man. Got the trans back and it's ready to go. So I need to get to marios shop to drop the motor in. I am waiting on the front drive and new headers before I put the motor in. I don't feel like hanging over the fenders to put the drive on. So I need it asap so I have to go to the rodshop today to find out were it is.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

What length steering column did you go with? I'm trying to figure out what would be a comfortable length for my '69 CST. I'll probably be moving the tank to the rear to give me a few more inches of leg room. Thanks buddy! The truck is looking dadgum awesome. Great job.

To answer your question I know the sticker only came on 71 as did the door panels I used but I like them better so that is why I picked them. Second this is a resto mod build so that is why I did not shave the gas tank. I like it were it is at. If I shaved it I might as well shave the trim and put a full custom paint job on it but then it would not be a cheyenne. Also If I shave the door then I have to do paint work and as I stated the paint is nice on the truck. Glad you got your truck for 650. If its a cheyenne and you are keeping the trim dont shave the gas door off. Just my two cents. Take care

No problem Mike. I have not trimmed the hood yet. Just got it on this weekend and I can't lay it out all the way with the hood on because I did not trim it yet. But I will get you some close ups tonight. I had to re wet sand the hood and buff it because something got on it when it was out in the rain. So I will try to get them for you tonight or tomorrow. Later

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

I would too but I want a little different look. I am going to try to make the motor compartment smooth from the back of the grill to the firewall. Cant wait to see the fenders finished
