Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
perfect! it looks like your fuel lines are identical to mine, so I should have no issues going over the t-case with the p-side exhaust! Thanks!

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
I also used the fuel lines from the donor Suburban but had to add more line as the crew cab was longer than the Suburban. I also used the skid plate. Make sure and take the crossmembers that bolt the gas tank in from the donor truck.

February 2011 CUSTOM CLASSIC TRUCKS page 34... That crew cab looks familiar... looks like the caption is wrong though. Way cool!

"Robert Saltos' '66 C-10 is another truck that was shot for a feature while we were in A****er-the town not the prison that is"
It is covereage of the C-10 get together. Some of the other trucks look familiar too, but I havent double checked.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
BTW, you (Ext56... no d) are mentioned in the article... along with some other 67-72ct members! The article was by J o h n G i l b e r t , who I think is a member too! Hey, it was a good article! I liked it a lot and think John did a great job on the coverage. I am jealous I don't live in Cali any more!

I was told that the crew cab was in custom classic trucks in the new issue this month but have not seen it yet.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
My subscription was up last month so I guess I will have to go out and look for that issue. We have had so much rain this year I feel like I am living in Oregon and can't wait for the sunshine to return.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
I grew up in Longview, WA. I moved away from the rain and the clouds.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
Truthfully, this has been the sunniest winter I can remember. Thanks for taking the rain off our hands for a while. I guess those fans we installed along the Columbia River to blow the rain south are working (and you thought we were harvesting wind power).
I've even mowed my lawn a couple times already. Normally I don't even think about firing it up until May. Now where are my shorts and flip flops? |

Your build is the best thing I have ever seen. I am converting my 67 c10 to a k20 and this thread is my new inspiration. Thank you for sharing the build
