Re: "Elwood" the 77_remix

I don't think the sale of Elwood is bad news...we followed and enjoyed the build, we enjoyed the accolades and praise the truck received. Now someone else gets to appreciate it in person, we all just hope they take care of it.

I'm excited to see Jake or another possible project progress.

Re: "Elwood" the 77_remix

The first time I met Ken was at one of the first (might have been the first) shows he took Elwood to attend. Back then it was just the '77. I had a hard time believing he sold it, but if the price was right, then I understand.

Now he has a bit of cash to put into Jake!

Yea, I just meant I thought it was part of his family. Don't know if I could have done that after EVERY upgrade made to that truck.

Just saw the new issue of Street Trucks, The American Racing ad is two pages, Elwood looks real good!

Wonder if AR is going to make it as a poster?

I would have to look it up. I prefer not to offer back space specs due to the variations in pad thickness, etc. I always recommend consulting the company you are buying wheels from instead.

Check out what made an appearance in Cleveland, GA today!

I never thought that I would have the opportunity to see Elwood in person. An absolutely gorgeous truck. Pictures can not capture the true detail that went into this truck.

Ken is still around, 2020 caused some challenges to all of us and he was no exception. Here is a link to his latest build. He is still working on it, but not all the updates are in the thread. I follow him on Instagram where he is a bit more active.

Yeah, 2020 was a horrible year for most. I was following that build, but it just sort of died off. Well, as long as he's well
