Still poking around for a vehicle to do hauling and such so had a look at this truck yesterday. Obviously needs paint but very solid, unmolested and mostly original except for manifold and carb updates. No rust that I could see at all, body & bed are pretty clean. Some oil moisture under engine and trans but no major drips. Runs, rides and brakes well, no smoke or rattles. Was thinking a quick Maaco paint job and would be good for a basic bombing around hauler truck but wish it was a short bed. Guy was a furniture refinisher and used it for hauling that, bought it at auction down by Sac a number of years ago so a California truck. He's had it for sale for about a month and likely won't go below $7K.

Just goes to show how different peoples opinions can be when it comes to these trucks. I thought $10k usd was a fair price if not even a bit low. In the last 12-18 months I’ve seen a lot worse trucks go for equal pricing or even higher.

I guess it's all about location. That would be a very good price here. Salt just killed vehicles in the north east

Incredible find with A/C and buddy buckets. I'm waiting for owner to send pics of spid. he said if he remembered correctly the only option shown is AC.

Let the excitement subside....that is body swap onto a 72 frame. You can see the aftermarket bolts for the cab and bed mounts. The frame has 72 style tall rear spring hangars and springs, 67 would have tapered rear springs.
Front drivers side spring has the 72 plate bolted to the frame which limits rearward travel of the spring in a collision.
It has disc front brakes prob from the frame swap.
Trans pan looks like th400.

I bet the title is 2wd too.

The trend is absolutely going insane, (for now anyway). I guess I'm just a little conservative because since owning one I now know how much work ($$$) is involved getting one of these up to snuff. I look at my own rust bucket with this in mind and have a hard time justifying to myself what the market is saying.
