Re: '67 Short Step #2
I think it's just light green as offered by Chevrolet and gmc back in 67-68.

Re: '67 Short Step #2
Well it's been awhile!
Finally started working on the truck again a few months ago. All of the fabrication and plumbing is complete. Just have to set the valves and timing to see what happens now. |

Re: '67 Short Step #2
looks realy clean
been maing progress on my project too bought a jaguar aj6 inline 6 aluminium engine 4 liter 24 valve bout 250 hp not the most logical engine but i think i can get it to work pulled the trigger on a vems ecu this month and i hope to have the engine running in a teststand before the end of the year and start rebuilding the truck next spring once its running and tuned reasonably i will rebuild a second aj6 engine intoo a turbomotor wish will be a challenge as there are hardly any new parts available for this engine

Re: '67 Short Step #2
Got a few updates. The truck is running, just haven't made time to tune it just right yet. Wired in this ignition relay to get more volts to the distributor.

Re: '67 Short Step #2
CSU rebuilt the Holley 390 for blow through use. I used my neighbors srt4 catalytic converter as the "muffler" and Bobbos old three inch tube for the exhaust system. It's not exactly quiet, but it runs clean!
