Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
Sure do wish we had this one back. It's a '47 GMC I think (maybe someone could help with that). I remember riding in the back in a foldout chair. Thought it was cool when I was 8 ... and still do. Just wish we still had it.

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
Race-----Your hauler has the appearance of a '54/ early 55 GMC, possibly a 300 or 350 series. Push button door handles and wing vent windows put it newer than '52 , as well .

Thanks JunkMan ... I've googled some of these old trucks, but haven't been able to narrow down the year.

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
That Mack A series posted in # 699 and 701 is owned by Lowell Baker, retired field mechanic from Great Lakes Diesel and Columbus Equipment. Lowell has or had a 1-71 for sale, plus used to own the Oliver tractor that was DRIVEN to Alaska with a 4 wheel farm wagon as camper. He typically shows a big, 20-30 HP hit and miss engine at shows .

Tim-----I suppose you know that Michelle did the photo-shop trick on her N model Ford, also added the tandem axle as well as the stretched out hood .

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
Thanks to everyone for sharing. We need to add the truck used in the movie "Duel" with Dennis Weaver.
