I'm on pins and needles about the FAST. I'm considering it for my 67 GMC and/or 65 Malibu. Good luck you have our backing!

Re: 68 project

Some new toys came in today, gotta love Summit Racing and how quick they get things shipped to you. The FAST system came in today along with my Meziere water pump and my AN fitting waterneck.. I feel another chapter coming to the end.

Re: 68 project

Getting close on the firewall, few more touchups and it will be ready to spray. Got a good coat of feather fill on it. It takes a lot of hours to smooth the firewall.

Re: 68 project

Well smoothing out the firewall the channel is capped off , time to remove the cab for one last time, then it will be lined up and bolted down permanently next time. Also starting to build the exhaust dynomax bullets all 3 inch pipes I want to heat Betty talking.

Had to bolt a fender on to get an idea of bew stance, I like the rake on it, perfect.

That all looks great! Still working on my firewall-too many distractions with summer and all! That stance is spot on! 3 inch should sound really sweet. Doing a cross over? Hang in there; you are getting close.

Re: 68 project

That looks great! I like the stance and wheel and tire set up too. More period correct-ish IMO.

Re: 68 project

Thanks guys, been a process for sure. Still a good ways to go though

I agree Deiselwrencher, I like the old school wheels still, I bought those back in 09 from a board member, I believe I gave like 300 for them plus shipping if I recall correctly.

Lookin' good Larry. It was nice to see you again this weekend, and thanks for the parts! The truck looks just as good, if not better, in person.
