Wow stunning truck. What did you use for the exhaust tips on your side exhaust, I love the look of it and have been trying to come up with the best way to run side exhaust on my dropmembered 68.

Thank you! Those are actually made out of 7/8'' aluminum. We made a set originally out of stainless sheet and welded it together, they weren't quite perfect so I know a guy who ran a water jet table. Took the stainless to him and he cut the aluminum ones out.
You could check out some companies that sell boat parts though, they sell exhaust tips that mount to a boat hull that would work about the same.

Thanks for the info Calvin, I started looking at some boat exhaust tips too, just trying to figure out what I want to do. I really like the way yours looks. If you don't mind, if you get a chance can you take a close up pic of the tip for me?

Not a problem at all, I'm glad to help whenever I can. It's still in the trailer but we should get it unloaded this week and I will get a couple of good ones for you.

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

Again like I said on Facebook absolutely stunning in person. The suspension was killer not to mention everything else. Hopefully you won can award yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't see you around your truck when I was there to see it. Maybe we will meet up sometime only about 2 hours from each other. Good luck the test of the show season.

I was just thinking that right before I got back on here and saw that! good timing. It is a great feeling, still pinching myself to make sure it's real.
