Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I've thought the exact same thing many a times, but there's no way I could afford it, even in it's present state

Congrats on the new shop and the move. The shop looks cool

When are the updates coming?

How about the metallic blue used on the newer GM trucks? It's a dark blue in shade, a slight green-sh blue in direct light, and has a good amount of metal flake in it too.

Can't find any good pics anymore on Chevy's site though.

It's gonna look good whatever color you go with, but in my humble opinion, I say go stick with blue. However, I'd go with medium blue metallic and keep the 69-72 bottom trim only. In my mind's eye the blue like on Sacto's truck, with the woody door panels and Coy's would be beyond beautiful!!

That's a gorgeous blue. It's not going to have the truck upper trim like Rob's. It'll have the lower side trim and the Burban-only trim just below the windows. The trim and paint separation will be just like these:

If I were to do a pure blue (with the white top/bottom) I'd probably go with this one:

Here's the color!

Cadillac uses it too on some of their cars:

Mike, I like the red & white or Hawaiian blue/white best.
I think Jaguar British Racing Green & white would look good. I have a pint if you'd like to take a look. (was considering it for my truck)
If going all one color, I'd highly recommend the AF blue.

I think that Hugger Orange with either a white, or egg shell white top and bottom would look cool.

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*

Ahhh so many choices... I was leaning toward a subtle, understated look but the red/white or bright blue/white would both just pop. The only reason I'm not jumping all over the dark blue/silver is because the 61 will be be midnight blue.

Here's a red/white (photoshop) with those lines and another sick blue (ultrasonic blue):

Hard choice...Blue and white would be sweeeet...but so would Red and white. It will be awesome no matter what you chose.

I think I like your idea for the color, Green/Grey with white. Do you want to trade when your done? I'll bet you $5.00 you will get asked to sell it every place you drive it.

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*

I'm partial to the blue and white myself.
This is sorta kinda the plan for my Blazer.

The actual "plan" is '67-68 side trim with white on top and bottom and blue in the middle. One of these days I'll get someone to photoshop it for me.
