depending on which picture you are referring to, the last group is from the McGrew trail, in O'Brien OR. Been on it?

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

I haven't been on it personaly but have heard of a run from Obrien and I have seen a video or two taken by some guys from Deschutes 4 Wheelers from Bend when i was in that club. I am familiar with that area since i own property close to Cave Junction (now for sale) . The scenery reminds me of the Selma and 8 dollar Mt. area.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

Thats exactly what it is. Very similar to the eight dollar mtn the illinois river valley. The trail is through the Biscuit fire complex, and though it is starting to grow back fairly well, it is still an impressive site.

The trail is incredible, riding the ridges between the mountains. At one point you can see the ocean just past the next set of mountains. There is only one road in and one road out of the camp we stay in. It is about 30 miles from crescent city and 25-30 from cave junction.

it is an incredible ride and a lot of fun. We also have a couple nice camping spots along the illinois one past 6 mile, one at the end of eight dollar road, and a couple others.

Do you live in southern oregon? or just own property out there (ans where out there? I have some friends and family with property too)? if you are close I'll let you know when we get out again, I usually have an open seat.

I live here in medford. Work for Erickson Aircrane. The property is in CJ area and 5 acres backed to BLM with a cabin. A weekend get away or survivealist site.

When life settles down i might be in to taking my CJ out there again and playing.

i say you downsize the tires. people try to go big just so they can say they have big tires. but if you take it over a curb youre gonna rip and crunch the bed where they scrub. how much lift do you have? i have 11in on mine and 38.5 swampers. they dont come close to scrubbing. and that comes in handy cause i hit a log at the bottom of a mud hole one time and it would have torn my body up. its up to you. what would the world be like without mall cruisers?

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

I just got my new baby, A 1970 K10 4x4 sitting on 35's but it's a soon to start project with my dad, friends, and family. I hope to raise it and put it on 42's or 44's but either way it will be a complete frame off restore but nothing near "classic" or stock!!! Let me know what you think and as always any Ideas or suggestions are welcome all feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for looking,
Gary
