Re: Project: Blank Slate
Nate- I just read your build, it took me last night and today to do so. I didn't have any idea when you were talking about your truck the other day that it was so nice. I wish you would have bragged a little more. That is one sweet ride. Congrats on the build and on the baby! I will definitley keep track of the rest of your build and hopefully the next one =)

Re: Project: Blank Slate
Thanks Mike!
He's got a few tool sets already, just needs to get his depth perception down a little better and he's ready to wrench. Quote:
It's been a labor of love, but this will be a truck I "plan" to keep for a long time due to it's originality and MO roots. Can't wait to see what the future holds for the next project, but first I have to finish our son's tot rod. Priorities.

Re: Project: Blank Slate
Okay guys... I have an update that I kind of kept quiet for a while until my buddy Keith decided to bring it to light. Click on the link below for that news release.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=484539 I happened to be at the Midwest All Truck Nat's last year and LMC was at the end of the judging line taking shots of trucks after they finished being judged. Around late April/early May I got a call from LMC asking if I would consider letting them shoot my truck for the cover, and needless to say I didn't think twice about it. After I arrived there that morning I was treated to a tour of their vehicle holding facility which stores probably 75-100 cars, trucks, and SUV's for their various parts cataloges. As I walked through this massive two-story building (with it's own automobile elevator) I started picking out trucks that I have seen in previous issues. The photoshoot itself was very professional and the guys that were there were great to work with. Can't wait to do it again... The entire process was a great experience and I feel honored to be on the cover. Here's a few pics from the photoshoot. The first pic is of the two-story test vehicle storage facility and the second it headed into the photoshoot. The rest are pretty well explainable.

Just like a Super Model.

Re: Project: Blank Slate
Saw the other post. Thanks for sharing the behind the scene pics. Such a cool honor...as I said there I think it's as good or possibly better than a cover on classic trucks or another truck magazine...more people read the LMC catalog than that catalog and they show the cover of that magazine on TONS of shows and advertisements....your truck will be famous!!!
