Re: 58 GMC Project
I actually just replaced the distributor and starter motor today, I was having lots of problems with both. I went to check if the starter was working and I guess there was some unburned gas in the cylinder cuzz the thing fired right up like a champ. Ive been really busy with school and what not the last couple months. I just turned 20 on sunday so I am feeling the pressure of not having a vehicle to drive all the time. Next thing on my agenda is getting the rest of the sheetmetal painted and then get the truck registered

The interier is lookin great... The pix are a little small on my monitor. But from what I can see they look great. Really like how the Head Liner looks with the contour in it. Really enjoy watch your ride progress.

Re: 58 GMC Project
Very Clean! That Dynamat is expensive, huh? I did the section behind my seat where the gas tank was. I'm going to use a material like a ruberized bedliner for the floor pans, toe boards, and roof. I think I'm also going to undercoat the bottom of the cab. Keep up the good work. Daniel U

Re: 58 GMC Project
Hi Cal 58 Those pictures look great.. When I get my truck,(some day) I'd like to get the same steering colum as yours. Really contributes to the awesome look of the interier. Are you happy with the 30 inch or could it have been longer?

Re: 58 GMC Project
I was just at the body shop today and he's got the bed together now and the 39 ford tailight buckets are now frenched in. He has also cut the bed sides for the inner fender tubs. Here's a few pictures.

Look'n Great Cali! She'll be a driver in no time! I still haven't had much time for mine.
I hope to get back on track and figure out the tranny mount so I can get the drive train bolted in. I will update my post when I get something done. Thanks for inspiring!

Re: 58 GMC Project
I still have my doors to do and after going to B-Quiet's web site, I will be doing the rest of it with their product. It's much cheaper then Dynamat. Here's a link to their web site.
