Are you still thinking about selling this one or maybe keeping it and cruising it some?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Beautiful work, Rob. What brand of paint did you use on the bed? Looks like a really good match.

Thanks Kevin! I'm not sure of the brand of paint, I'll ask my painter. I know its a single stage and it laid out pretty good....

I'm really liking the wood you're going to use. Think it will look great with the white accents you've got on Shifted.

Thanks! We started the process to finish the bed wood. Since there are 3 separate steps that need to dry, it will probably be sometime next week before we are finished. I think it' going to look really good when all is said and done, .

Re: Project "Shifted"

Making some progress:
battery is mounted, will start wiring this weekend
brake lines are complete, just need to bleed them
first step on the bed wood is complete, 2 more to go
pulled the front clip back off to weld up the filler pieces for the front tubs and to start the finishing process under the hood. when I put the clip back on, it should be the last time, . So I'm really down to a bunch of tedious stuff that won't prove picture worthy, but at least the I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, . Merry Christmas!

Truck looks great I'm assuming that your batter will have remote jumpers? If so where?

Thanks, Hope you had a great one also, .

Productive day yesterday: all the brake lines are done, I just need to bleed them. Fuel lines are done, ready for some petrol. Front filler pieces are welded in and painted, just need to scuff and paint the front tubs. All fluids and filters have been changed. Battery is mounted. Cleaned up the front clip while I was at it.... I'm almost ready to jump on the wiring, I have a few more things I want to knock out first and then let the fun begin......

Thanks for the info! That's some slick work! I'm really digging it!

I see you slid in the front fender mod on the sly too! Looks good from where I sit...did it turn out like you hoped?

I got the booster from Curt Hill @ Hill's Rod & Custom. I think it is similar to the booster on a 68-70 Mustang.
