Thanks Steve, the last couple of months have been tough but I feel like hopefully we are finally coming out of it. Alot of other little things kept happening like for example my wife's car breaking down forcing us to go buy her a new one. I hope everything is over now and can't wait to start working on my truck again, I just want to be able to go to cruises & shows with my father and park it next to his 40 Chevy pickup.

Thanks Jim, we are glad he's better too. It's funny, all he wanted to do when he was in the hospital is talk about my truck and what we need to do to it.

Good to hear your dad is doing better. I know how you feel, I lost my dad eight years ago and I had a hard time with anything to do with cars for a long time without him.

Cool parts!

Thanks it has taken a while but everything is coming back together. My family are all into this hobby, my bother has a 57 Chevy pickup in his backyard that my dad can't wait to start on after mine is done.

Yeah your build thread is one of them that inspired me to finally pull the trigger on the kit.

I'm going to eventually run the Touring Dropmember with it. Won't be quite as low as the extreme but will be close. From what I understand it doesn't move the Engine up like the Extreme does, which is what I need for clearance for my BBC/TH400 combo.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB

Well if any of you guys follow the for sale section then you know I have sold the Vintecs to Hart_Rod. I think Rob is cornering the market on the Soft Lip Vintec dish now that he has two sets thanks again Rob. I don't know what it was since the Vintecs look awesome on everything and I have always loved the way they looked but I felt they weren't for me. At first i tried to tell myself that they were too nice and shiney and maybe i should go with a grey centered wheel. But that wasnt it, as polished billet wheels have always been my favorite. So for about two months I struggled with the idea of selling them. I finally decided post them up forsale thinking they probably wouldn't sell and they did in 1 day.

So the wheels were shipped off to Rob in Florida and I started the search for new wheels. This is a very extensive process especially with all the different designs from the all the billet wheel manufactures. I decided to go with a set of Intro's that I love the design of and fit my style better. I chose the Intro Retros in 20x8.5 with 5.25" bs and 20x10 with 5" bs. Now I have to wait the agonizing 6 weeks or longer for my new wheels to come in. I want to thank Travis at AZProPerformance and a board vendor on here for great customer service. Hopefully I don't go nuts in the head again when I receive these and decide to sell them too

You'd expect more from a guy that's been a member since 2006.

I love the Vintecs and the Retro's are one of my favorites. If you get tired of them, shoot me a pm!

I'm thinking Rob uses that burb like we would use a storage cabinet.

When are you expecting the PB stuff to show up?

I'm curious, what does the "G4L" stand for?

Lot's of questions today.
