Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
You want snow pics? Hah. Well, this year there isn't enough yet to be worthy of taking a picture of, although we do have a lot more than you guys have. I hear its "cold" down in the south right now, like 30's around some places in Texas. It's between 0 and 15 (fahrenheit) depending on the time of day here, for the past four or five days. High's for the next three days go 2 1 1. Anyways, idk if it's the best thread for these, and I never posted them last year, but here they are, they're still kinda interesting.
First one is the road. It was freshly plowed, and this was a drift. Some farmer's road. This was the ditch next to where I got stuck the second time, same road as the first picture, just way before that spot. It drifted in again, and I got stuck on purpose, and we were screwin around, seeing how deep the snow bank was next to the road (drift in and a little bit of what was plowed up). He's like 5'5" and we never found ground. The picture I am not proud of. One tire on the road, other barely in the ditch, of course it's one wheel drive in the front (thanks GM, good idea there) and my G80 decided to do more slipping than locking out back. Right before our trucks is the little old farmyard where I blew out two power steering pumps (the brand new pump didn't stand a stinkin chance) I made it about 150-200 yards in snow that I was plowing with my bumper, 4Lo balls to the wall, bout hittin the rev limiter the whole way, trying to saw the tires back and forth. Made for one hell of a show, that's for sure. Engine was at like 260 and tranny was 230s the first time I made it though. Original power steering pump was shot pretty quick. Next weekend I did it again and burned out the brand new one. And to throw some more 88-98s out there, a couple muddy ones, of mine and somebody elses

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
lol. Are those two muddy pics showing up rediculously huge? I can't get them to resize. Stupid photobucket. Sorry if they didn't resize for anybody, and making the page wide.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
hmm. I tried cutting them down to 1024x768. Not working for me, they're still 2048x1536. I give up. Haha.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
hah, thanks. Idk about it being the baddest. But I might soon have one even badder....
4200 bucks. Hmmmm.... by the way, those are 49 inch Michenlins. Notice the 96 GMC beside it, 6" lift plus 3" body lift, 38's. My roof will be about at the things hood. Might make it a somewhat daily driver to scare the piss out of everyone I'm behind. Oh, and it'd make a good winter vehicle if we get that much snow again. Then again, if I did get it stuck, I may be getting one huge tractor. A huuuuuge tractor, like a big old Steiger.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
slick lookin burb. I knew I'd seen that pic of it on FSC once, I think he posted it actually. Some thread like 'body lift suburban' or something along those lines. Yours looks pretty clean, any other pics?
