Re: Project 67 DRGNWGN - 67 Burban!!

for anyone still following along....since i left you guys hanging forever.....thats my motor donor truck i picked up from a buddys auction. 2000 yukon xl, does have a good amount of miles (230k?). drove it up and down the road about 70 mph and it seemed decent. havent brought it home yet (need to cut a small tree down where its going to be parked) but i did order my dirty dingo slider mounts and will start collecting parts for the ls swap.

going to try and get a video of my 305 running so i can rip it out and sell it so i can power wash and paint the frame and under motor stuff.

I'm pretty much the opposite. If I decide on something I hurry up and do it before I can change my mind....... Well, except for the '70 short bed. I started it over 10 years ago, but I still haven't changed my mind on anything I planned on it.

I can't remember what you have there. Does that shaft just pull out of the tail housing or does it have a nut on it? Do you have the other end of the shaft loose? You are probably not going to get that u-joint apart while it is still under the truck.

Then you will have to unbolt the other end and unbolt the carrier bearing bracket if it has one and pull the shaft out of the tail housing.
