This truck that was used as a billboard for a number of years is now listed for sale on Craigslist for $10k.

Seems like it has been there thirty years. They used to tie that balloon to it. Darn good cider and apple pies there. And the BEST apple butter on this earth!

I see this one around pretty often. CustomCamper/20 with a factory pinstripe. One of my favorite factory colors, Dark Gold Poly. Don't see too many in that color.

I agree, great color. '69-'70 was the height of cool metallic colors. Also has my favorite camper style mirrors, fits the door like a glove.

Re: Trucks in the Wild

Took some brake rotors to be turned. Mechanic was working on a cutomer's truck. To my surprise, it was a highlander. Listed on the SPID with a fairly nice option list. I'd love to have it.

Spotted this one in someone's backyard on my street. I've lived here for 11 years and have never seen it!

Not taking credit for these pics. My brother ran into the owner of this cool 'Burb today. It's his work truck. I like it!

Went to the Tri5 nats in Bowling Green Ky for the last part of the week. Pulled the Scotty, had a blast, and a cool neighbor across the street at the campground.

Re: Trucks in the Wild

Been eyeballing this one for the past few weeks, traveling up to DC, sitting at a mechanics shop just south of Warrenton, VA. I finally took a few minutes to stop in and see what the story was. Current owner bought it as a barn find and is going to have it restored. It was there for the engine and drive train refresh. Very nice, original 72 Super Cheyenne. Steering wheel was the only thing I could see that was changed out.
