Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

And on the other end of the scale 67 GMC $1500. Not mine as I couldn't have listed it as "runs and drives" with the radiator in the bed!

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/p...989387523.html

1967 GMC truck. Parting out.
Motor was rebuilt, and has less than 1K miles on it.
4 speed manual.
Good battery
Not ready to drive down the road, because the brake peddle sticks, and the radiator is in the bed of the truck.
Let me know what you need.
Everything for $1500.

Here's a pic for you.

Odd to see blue upholstery in a yellow truck. I like the license plate.

Truck is pretty rough but the seats are desirable. Thought about contacting the seller about just the seats but they may be hoping the seats will sell the whole truck.

If that deal was close to me I would just buy everything at that price!

71 C20 Longhorn, and a great lesson in how to not take photos for your sale ad. Not one single picture of "the truck", just 7 extreme close ups. That's helpful... $5K

Nice blue K model. $23500. I hope the steering wheel isn't as blue as the photo shows it being, cause if it was mine it would bug me to the point of painting it.

Larry,

Hey Jocko,

I was scrolling through all the posts and on page 264, post # 6576, my brother bought that truck shortly after I got mine. He had his girlfriends brother look at it in Chicago and then made a deal. He had it shipped Denver Colorado where he worked on it at his daughters house and then drove it home to Phoenix.

Hello HO455. I see what you mean. This is just my personal preference but if it had been my truck I would have painted it some sort of original color that would have not clashed with the steering wheel. I like the color of the wheel, and GM had some nice blues back then. But to each his own. It is a beautiful truck !!

I agree it is beautiful and the wheel color maybe great in real life. Sometimes colors on different surfaces just don't photograph well.
