Re: Suburban and panel finds

70 K10 $8500. Not mine! Saw this at the swap meet and the owner is mildly understating about how straight it is.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...859259167.html

I have a very original '70 K10 four wheel drive Chevy Suburban for sale. It runs and drives great (does 70+ down the freeway with one hand on the wheel) and has very little rust. I don't want to be the guy that says "barn find", but it did spend a lot of it's life tucked away in one. It has a new fuel pump, a rebuilt carb and the fuel line has been cleaned out and the tank flushed, it has matching vintage firestone tires on it (unlike in these pictures). It's not the straightest thing there is, but it's the only one I've seen for sale ...and again, it's pretty close to rust free. Come check it out at the swap meet in stall 9382 at the expo center (along the fence between the red and the pink gates). I'm open to trades and would definitely be interested in a rust free c10.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

1971 K10 BBC with barn doors $9500. Not mine! Looks like a good deal.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/c...860670795.html

Body and paint by Dreamers. Tilt column. Barn doors.
1 ton Dana 60 front. Corp. 14 bolt rear with gov lock. Rebuilt 400TH from HMMWV Allison torque converter. NP205 transfer case mod for twin stick. Custom drive shafts. Hydrostatic brake set up front and rear disks.
.030 over 454 Keith Black hypereutectic pistons, Childs & Albert file fit rings. Custom hydraulic roller cam Crane billet core, Comp pro mag roller rockers, Comp roller lifters. Balanced with Fluidamper. MSD ignition. Demon carb.

Paint has some bubbles in it. Has temporary exhaust system. Needs glass interior and wiring installed. It runs but has never been driven.

This is a PROJECT you will need a trailer. It's at the "first fitting" stage. There will be things that need to be changed to make it drivable. Many high quality high cost parts on this truck. I’m helping my dad sell it. $9,500 OBO

Re: Suburban and panel finds

GMC 1970 $2500 looks like a deal. Not mine!

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/c...862586323.html

Must sacrifice rare 3 door 1970 3/4 ton Carryall, precursor to the Suburban. Two wheel drive,
Crate engine 350 with 23k on it. This project truck is started regularly and runs but has been off the road for a couple of years. Some body work has been done, comes with 2 patch panels and misc. parts, tire chains.
Needs muffler. Overall solid old truck is a diamond in the rough and needs someone to restore it.
$2500 obo.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Those quick n easy racks were discontinued maybe last year? They were send to be everywhere. That set you bought being newer was worth about $275 for three bars etc

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Your welcome! I just scored a set at the Portland swap meet last weekend. Not as nice as that set but it came with 3 1/2 extra clamps. I talked with Northwest River which was a dealer and they said the company has suddenly gone silent and the Quick&Easy web site is there but nonfunctional.
Now you have the rack the hard part will be to find a shorty canoe to fit.

Looks to me like the front end is caved in. Hood, Grille, & bumper. Maybe it's just reflection but I don't think so.

I just brought this one home today. Can we say customized? It appears at one time this was a high dollar show rig, but that day has long since passed.

it is one of them rare panaburbs
