Mike I am worried that it may happen. However next time it will be a whole different truck all together. I am looking for a chevy 1500 swb reg cab or a 68 c10 to do a complete rocker laying style with full frame off built that I will do slowly at my own pace unless I find one finished that I can improve from. Not in a hurry just looking for one of those deals that cant pass up.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

Well yesterday we did not work on the truck. Today raul calls me and tells me that he had his sons football game so he suggested for me to tackle some things to make up time for the next time we work on the truck. So I tied up some lose ends on the front suspension. I moved next to the rear brakes as raul suggested to take off everything so I went ahead took everything off with the exception of the rear backing plates as we have to pull the axles to take them off. I was there thinking "I can cut these sob's off" so I went ahead and took a shot at them and an hour later off they were. Next time is paint the area install brackets, calipers, rotors and rear bags maybe we will put the truck on the floor for some shots will see.

Now nobody can say that I am the helper
