Re: Restoring OEM Seatbelts

This is a set of 77 Blazer, Buckskin is the color. This was a previous commitment for someone local, as I have stopped doing the Blazer belts. These were dropped off and will be picked up.
These were disassembled, throughly cleaned and freshened up with the correct color of Buckskin. Rust removal from all the metal and chrome. New Emblems, new aftermarket sleeves for the front belts, since it has bucket seats. Then the set was sent for New Webbing. Just got them back and they are Beautiful!
Check out the Before and After pics.

That is an amazing restoration. Too bad you are not doing Blazer seat belt restorations anymore. Where did you get the new aftermarket sleeves for the front belts? Where did you send the belts off for new webbing? I might try to restore my belts myself.

I can still do that year of Blazer. Yes that set was sent off for new webbing. And I did another set for someone. They were fully restored.
And the sleeve, I found a better option for the Blazer. Mainly for the passenger side, since the seat folds forward. The drivers side isn’t an issue since the seat stays stationary, so the belt stays put.

Re: Restoring OEM Seatbelts

I haven’t been posting over here in the forum for awhile, just my FB Page.
Here’s another 77 Blazer that was changed from Red to a Custom Color. The plastics were dyed Mahogany, and then sent for new webbing.

Re: Restoring OEM Seatbelts

The set above was used in this interior, with this seat. Now they can get rid those goofy aftermarket belts. These will look much better!

Re: Restoring OEM Seatbelts

Here’s another set that was done for a Forum member. 1968 Red. Center Lap belt was mia, so since these were getting restored and receiving New Webbing to match the seat and interior, I supplied those so it would be a complete set. Also installed New chrome male ends and new GM Emblems.
Here’s the Before Pics.
