It’s Seymour EN-48. The valve covers were wet-sanded and polished. It sprays very thin, so multiple layers are needed, and cures slowly, but seems durable so far

Which alternator and power steering brackets are those? Looks like a 2010+ LS3 Camaro pump? Are you sure the pressures of that pump will match the needs of the C10 steering box?

They are from ICT Billet, using 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird pump and alternator. Not sure on the truck box, as I’m running rack and pinion with the Porterbuilt Dropmember. I have seen guys use the type II GM pump, which I understand was designed for higher pressures

Is that the Delmo kit you're using for the throttle body? Do you plan to use MAF or go SD?

I’m too cheap for Delmo’s stuff, though it is very nice. The adapter I bought on eBay off of a guy in Australia, but it looks like Holley now sells them for ~$120. I’ll be using Fitech to run the engine, so SD for me

It's just dupli-color chevy orange-red #DE1607 from a local parts store. The coil covers are the Holley big block style covers. They were painted black, then masked using a set of decals that go on the script SBC valve covers, painted orange, then decals removed, then cleared over.

Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!

Hi guys,

I am new to the forum.
I have recently finished a restomod 1986 K30 4x4 starting with an ugly ex-army truck. I will post a new thread on the build soon to try to help anyone else on a project like it. There are alot of nice swaps on here I could have learned from, I didn't know they were here!

2016 L96 6.0/4L80/205
