Re: Show us your projects
Hey everyone, new to this site, this will be my second build, first one was a lifted 4x4, this one will be a lowered 2wd. A lotta work will be needed to get this one going again, but it was free so the price was good.
I just brought it into the garage last weekend, not sure when i will start but i thought i'de start with the vin. Can anyone help decode this one? Model # 9314 Serial # 69314602872 Engine # C161505 Body serial # 1068 Paint is 5004 which is the only one i was able to figure out "emerald green " |

Re: Show us your projects
if you don't have the tools already, I'd suggest getting them and some metal and make most all the floors, kickpanels and whatever else you feel comfortable making. Either that or overpriced patch panels. Some like outter cowl and door jam area, rockers I can see buying. but the rest makes more sense to fab to me. Plus more fun, but just more time consuming. I have a panel truck that has some similar features here. Fortunately and miraculously the areas that support the door are still there, makes it alot easier to keep things aligned. anyway bringing this back to life is a feat and not many people can and or will do it. I'm looking forward to you doing it.

I don't know what they were originally on, I've had them for about 20 years on my Nova. I really like the looks of them. I have only seen 2 other sets, one was an a conversion van and the other was a four lug set on a late 70's foreign car. I figured they would give them a 70's or 80's look to the Sub. I put a set of SS wheels on my Nova, just like the ones that are on your Burb.
