Boy those last 2 pics bring back memories of my own problems. But we don't call them problems here...they are known as opportunities for improvement.

Re: PO has me PO'd

Corvette guys have all the good parts remade. Found these parts at Corvette America...exhaust manifold bolts, washers and locking tabs, clips for spark plug wires on oil pan, heat shields, and even the vent cap for the rear ends. The flanges are for my sons jeep, 2", don't have them in that style for 2 1/2"

This style clip barely fits 8mm wires, heat shield kit, 4 pcs., were like 25 dollars

Have the link?

I need that heat shield kit.
That's a great price for it too, last time I looked it was over 100 bucks.
Different reman company obviously.

Rare Corvette optioned '72 Jimmy, Duntov'd prepped

I think the PO has struck again, dipstick seems to be in the wrong location. There is a notch in the exhaust manifold and the heat shield and I'm guessing it should be rotated 45 degrees

Nice parts...do you think it will go faster now? J/K Good deal on those. We've bought a lot from Corvette America among other places and IIRC they do have the best prices. Nice find!

Re: PO has me PO'd

Looks nice Jim, those the 2.5" manifolds?

Might have to get another set, they run good but they definitely burn plug boots on the middle cylinders.

What made you decide to run an elec. water pump?
