Re: Boppa's old yeller truck

Gonna be sweet! They have some good info on the trucks show on the power block tv. You can watch all the episodes powerblocktv.com They did a swap on a 72. Good luck. I'll be tuned in.

Awesome Chip, congrats on the motor and transmission. If you need a extra parts changer helper let me know. I'd be glad to help. I have a engine hoist if you need one to use for awhile.

Re: Boppa's old yeller truck

Wes-Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out!

Scott- I appreciate the offer. Neighbor Jay's dad has loaned us his cherry picker on the "it can sit at your place as well as it can sit at mine" plan. Thanks very much, though!

Mike- I hope you do, I need all the help you and Landen can give me!

Re: Boppa's old yeller truck

I'm glad you went that direction. I had all the same concerns as you before I did mine. Now, I will never waste my time building an old school smallblock again. That's right, I said waste my time, you'll be amazed how easy this is.

Glad Boppa is okay, sorry to hear about his dog not making it. Pets and trucks like these are also family members in my book. Will be missed.

Re: Boppa's old yeller truck

Yikes! I'm glad your dad is okay. The frame and front clip is gone for sure but the rest of it looks okay in these pictures, can the rest of the parts be salvaged and used to build another truck?

Re: Boppa's old yeller truck

So sorry to hear about his dog not making it. That breaks my heart. I know how close we can get to our pets. Truly family members. I hope the prosecution doesn't hold back on this idiot.

Re: Boppa's old yeller truck

It is done, the bed might be ok. Cab is diamonded, pass door is off by an inch and will not shut. We're hoping we might salvage the drivetrain, but we don't know.

We have been overwhelmed by the support both from the community online and real world, it's truly touching and we appreciate it.

The prosecution is literally married to a family member that was at the hospital. We have assurances that it will be handled to the fullest.
