Wow, that 73 does look nice. 73-75 were known for their rust! Nice to see one that survived.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Hey guys new member here and have been looking for a 2wd blazer for a while. Im located in northern Alabama, but I am willing to drive to get what i want. I am looking for one of two things; either a previously restored blazer thats in decent condition that i can do a nice static drop and wheel combo on, or a roller to do a roadster build with. Budget will depend on the truck and condition.

Blazester has his '72 for sale. It is closer to you (in the Atlanta area). You could get it for around $20k, which in my opinion is a steal compared to what all has been done to it. I posted a few pics of it at the Auto Fair here in CLT on Saturday in THIS forum thread. He also has it for sale in the forum classifieds HERE Of course, I wouldn't change much on his. It will go anywhere now. He's ran it on the Hot Rod Power Tour. It's already lowered (without bags). Of course, I am a daily driver guy. I wanna be able to enjoy mine everyday of the week, so I am not a big fan of airbags. If I had the money (or the existing credit), that's the one I would be going for.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Hey guys, I have been a member of the forum for a while but have not posted.
I love the discussion on these 2WD blazers. I currently own a SWB 2WD '69 C10 with a factory wood bed. I have been considering selling or trading my truck for a 2WD blazer...anything in particular I should look for? I live in Denver CO....if any one knows of one for sale in the area give me a heads up. Nice to meet you all! Curtis Posted via Mobile Device |

@5150
That is very nice! I have seen it a few times on a few different sites. Unfortunately it is not quite what I am looking for and probably more than I want to spend. I do love the ride though! Posted via Mobile Device |

Who knows why I haven't sold it yet. I know the topless thing is a turnoff for some. Kind of figured someone in California would be all over it.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Mine may be for sale shortly and from what I've seen some going for, I won't get anywhere near what I'd like. :-( 1972 GMC Jimmy. Black, 68 chevy front clip, new (as in never driven) edelbrock performer 350, new 700r4, and possibly Porterbuilt's stage II kit. Not sure if he's started on it yet. I've slowly had to sell off my stable. These pics were taken before I bought her and she's probably not quite as clean now.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I hate to jinx it, but I gotta tell someone! (Of course, I already told GCBURDIC, he's a local though) I think (after an exhaustive search) I have found the project Blazer I've been searching for. Should know on Tuesday. It's pretty sweet and I have pics, but I KNOW that'll jinx it.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Give me til Tuesday. He lives pretty far away, so even though we've worked the deal, until cash changes hands... I dont want to start showing it off. But I am still pretty stoked. Just like I told burbman69 and gcburdic at the Detroit Speed open house the other night. I've already started building it . . . in my mind. haha.
