"There isn't too many 2wd blazers around Edmonton or Calgary that I know of.. I know of 4 around Edmonton and phat tony is in red deer with one. I doubt there are more then 20 left in Alberta that are driveable, I had to go to Vancouver to get mine 2 1/2 years ago after looking for months. I know of others that had to go to other provinces as well and bring them here.. Just a guess though.. On the numbers left"
I know of one in Calgary(I think it's a 4x4 conversion though) and I think a flat black/flamed one in Lethbridge. Honestly I hope there isn't too many around...

I spy 2 new ones in the board classifieds!

There are a few around Calgary, seems like they are popping up more often now. 2 in Lethbridge, a nice black one and another one that has been around for years. My 2 wd Jimmy went to Saskatoon, back to the guy I bought it from 6 ish years later...

If you are talking about mine, yes it is a converted-ish, and after Im done with it besides the K in the vin, I don't think anyone will care....

It is a really nice blazer and pretty well done. I agree on the color, not my first choice either. If you don't mind having a title with an AVIN from the state of WA, then it would be a pretty good buy.

Heres some pics of the one in Culman Alabama...Has rust in the rockers, and the hard to tell how well preserved the top is in the other photo's I have. Unknown miles on the motor/tranny, newer guts, has pearl flames. Nice guy to talk to, very friendly.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

OOOOooooooo, I have actually seen this Blazer in person, and let me tell ya... it is SWEET! He told me a while back he was thinking about getting rid of it. I bought my '72 off of this guy. I didn't even know it was for sale and ran across it on my weekly Craigslist search.

I'll have to shoot him an email and tell him to list it on here for you guys. I have a really good picture of it somewhere in my photobucket account from the Charlotte Auto Fair. I'll have to dig it up.

EDIT: found photos...

Yeh, it's got a little rust in the tailgate and a spot on the bottom of the door but it's no longer for sale. I've decided to hang on to it and drive it a bit longer. I've got a built small block that I've been saving for my wife's 57 bel-air that I'm thinking about dropping in it and lowering it a couple more inches. Here you go Jeffg, thought you may like these, I got em both out yesterday and snapped a few shots before they went back under cover!

Haha, the pale yellow one is mine ... if I ever pick it up. Now that Spring is here, I am itching. I think I am just gonna rent a UHaul trailer to come pick it up.

Yeah Jerrett, those pics are AWESOME!!! I was shocked to see you were selling it because it is SOOO sweet! Glad you are keeping it now. I've been meaning to ask you, are you going to show with the East Coast Cruisers at the Charlotte Auto Fair?
