Re: No Limit's "K-10"
To us, that side of the Rockies is east. And, if I drive 2500 miles towards the 'E' on the map, I'm in the east.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Ha, well that was a smart azz answer! I didn't really get the question - thought you were wondering why I didn't say 'mid west'. Oops, sorry. We're going to head back east for some shows, including Des Moines, Columbus, Indy, and Kansas City Good-Guys, and hopefully add in the LS fest. If your close to any of these, stop by and say hi.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Gotta laugh at this one. The other night we went out testing again. Changed the front set up a bit, and we bought a $12 i-phone app thats a gps lap timer. For the first one-hour session, we left the truck alone, and got used to the timer, and focused on driving. During the break, we picked up a time sheet from the pit shack, and our times from the I-phone were right in line. This is a big step, now we can get instant feedback instead of waighting until the session is over to get lap times. Happy happy. In the second session, we started to fine tune things, and record our times. 46.23, 46.11, drop rear pressure, 45.92, 45.88, add 5 clicks front rebound, 45.53, 45.76, add 4 clicks front compression, 45.41, 45.50!!!!! WOW, we've never been that fast. Can't believe it. A guy we run with a lot in a monster miata even commented that he thought I was catching him! Then the time sheets come down from the tower, and they show me at 47's and 48's --- WHAT? After some confussion, I walked up to the tower to find the steward 'playing stroke the camshaft' with his girlfriend. Then he said that he may have missed the inputs a bit. I'll go with my times!!

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Hi Rob, do you have any idea when the article on the K10 will be in Truckin'. It isn't available locally and I'll have to go find a Barnes and Nobles to get one when it comes out.
Thanks,

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
NEWS FLASH Columbus 2012. No Limit's HellBoy C-10 will be competing in the Sponsor Shootout on sat. We will be representing Hurst Shifters, one of the twelve Goodguys autocross sponsors. If your anywhere close to Des Moines or Columbus, I wouldn't miss these shows. I'm pretty sure that some wild $h!t will be going on at both of these shows. There are a lot of guys bringing out some FAST trucks. It's gonna be great!

Subscribed. I'm looking at doing a similar build but, going retro with my 67 SWB. I'll be tuned into your build. Sounds like a ton of fun on a working mans budget..

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Rob, I'll have the Canyon back together here in about 6 weeks. Been waiting on JE pistons only to find that they have no clue what I was talking about when I wanted pistons for my motor. Problem is solved though and now I play the waiting game.
Gonna give it hell when I see you next only this time the smoke will be from my tires

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Columbus and De Moines should be a lot of fun. I'll be by the autocross most of the time. Come on out and give it a try. There will be some fast trucks around. Tyler Gibson, Summers and sons, Mark Turner, and the Roadster shop should all be at one or both of these. Kevin Bapst should be in Columbus with some monster brakes, and we should also see the debut of Smitty's new C-10 on the track. Provided there's no fisticuffs in the pits, sounds like a great time.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Des Moines is a great show. It's the fastest coarse we run all year with GoodGuys. Looking forward to the show, not the drive out. See you at the campground.
What, no idle chatter from Ohsolowtrent?????

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
AWD would be very interesting, impresive traction but will steer totally different and no drift to speak of compared to a 2wd, hope something will work out in the awd area, if not I am sure you will figure some tricks out to work for you track wise, interesting build.
