Re: Owen's C10

I like it on the door panels...the flash from the camera makes it look like saddle interior.

It almost looks like you wrapped the dash in leather. I like it!

Re: Owen's C10

So I wasn't liking the colour of the cabs interior, it just didn't look the way I was hoping it would...epic fail on my part. I ended up sanding the whole cab again and sprayed it body colour....

Re: Owen's C10

after the clear was dry I put the steering wheel on, and the glove box door which I had also cleared protecting the original patina and spid...so now it's got me thinking that I need to paint the gauge panel to match or paint my spare glove box door or...leave it as is. Sooo sick of painting right now.

Re: Owen's C10

very very nice. i like the body color mulch better for the interior. i think you should paint the gauge bezel to match the original glove box door that you have mounted there. i think it breaks up the blue really well.

Re: Owen's C10

so Saturday I cut and polished the inside of the cab. wet sanding overhead is as much fun as it sounds...but it looks so much better. now if I only had the frame painted...

thanks! there was a lot of orange peel, (its so hard to get paint in those tight spots) and some dirt but it all came out. so now that it's over I'm glad I did it.

Re: Owen's C10

picked up some 8 inch wide by 3/4 thick white oak flooring that I'll use for the bed floor, not as dark as I wanted but it's free...I'll have to rip it to fit the opening and for the bed strips but that's a project for another time.

Re: Owen's C10

With the holidays here I finally had some quality downtime to spend tearing the truck apart and getting the chassis ready for paint....
