Mocked up my rear suspension today once the control arms are in where I want them I will mount the coil overs. That is if I don't decide to do a a trailing arm set up.

Nothing, but found this old Chevy grille (probably 29-31 based on what he had as a kid) in my Dad's storage container. Also brought back two boxes of old hub caps (some AD) and saw an old gas pump buried in the back.

Is it satin or are you clear coating it?

Thanks, and yes it looks even better in person! Even better now it's on the truck.lol
it's going to stay satin, i hope to do the rest of the truck and maybe some day down the road i'll put some color on her. Thanks for the job offer but it would cost me money to do body work for a living. lol Don't get me wrong i love how nice it came out but it took me ten times the amount of time to get it right... lol

Iworked on cleaning up my frame where the suspension X-member goes. I would like to weld it in tomorrow. If the wind dies down that is.

About to change the oil and use 20/ 50 to see if oil pressure comes up.. if not I have a new pump on standby. Waiting on the sun to go down, it was 105F outside
