Here is my grandpas old 47 Willys cj2a. This thing has rarely seen pavement in the last 20 years. It is a beast. I just like his custom paint job. Defiantly unique and from another era

Me too! I used to also hear them called school buses, too
 . I like them through the years. The late-50s/early-60s have a certain funk I love. The mid-60s are sharp with the lower body sides and taller glass, and the late square style is just so brute yet handsome... like a 67-72 GM

Here are some more pictures of the willys flat fender. This is our ranch/off roading rig so its been well used. It had the same paint scheme in the 70's - 80's but the yellow was dark blue and orange, light blue. I know my mom, her sisters, and most of my cousins learned to drive stick in it. only thing that has changed is wheels and seats.
