Re: Project two tone.
After a 6 day week at work I rested up a little on Saturday and spent most of Sunday working on the truck. Painted up some small parts to put my front suspension on. Have a few more parts to paint and I'll be putting the wheels back on the front. Need to paint the axle and trailing arms and I'll be putting the rear back together. Hoping to have the rear done this weekend.

Re: Project two tone.
Hey guys! Small update fer ya! Well, after a wee bit of research and consideration it crossed my mind how hot it gets up here and how much I'd love to have A/C in my truck so I can comfortably drive it during 100 degree days. Sorry...windows down does Nothing when its that hot. lol So my 1st down fall was...oh crap...where do I get a bracket. Well, thanks to CaptainFab he showed me a place where I could get a set! Ordered them up and now they're here! Pictures:
Another downfall though. I won't be able to use the valve cover the way I have it set up because the bracket hits the breather adapter on the side. *sigh* Oh well. lol So, I'll be buying a finned valve cover from the same place I got this one. And I think I'll like it better as I can do some more detail work. But Man. That setup grew on me.

Re: Project two tone.
Could you just stick some 1/2" aluminum blocks between the head and bracket to space the brackets out from the valve cover? Or maybe I'm not seeing/understanding where there is interference.

Re: Project two tone.
I was thinking the same thing an siggy, but looking back it still looks like you can run the back breather on a new valve cover it still looks sweet

Yeah, The new cover with be a taller finned aluminum cover. So I'll be detail painting the fins. Its the one I originally Wanted to go with, but no body had ever gotten the smooth one so I ended up getting that one...then liked the setup. lol And now I can get the one I want. haha.

Re: Project two tone.
TJ plug the hole behind the bracket and put the breather on the carb side. you can always get the other v-cover. you got me thinking about A/C now lol. eng is looking good.

Re: Project two tone.
Nope, the plugs and plug wires will be fine. I can bring the compressor up higher if I have those issues. It's pretty adjustable. lol
