Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

I created a monster! Oh and don't anybody be fooled, Mike showed me his portfolio and I recognized half of his rides...this ain't his first rodeo!

I thought your truck was kick a** the first time I saw it and it looks nothing like it does today which is even better...of course you were getting 'er done like the good ole days before the interwebs. Just word of mouth, gearhead-to-gearhead, and magazine learnin'. I was trying to remember the other day why I stopped by, if I bought or sold something to you...must have been Craigslist. At any rate, glad I did!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

Yes Grandpa took very good care of the truck ! we replaced all of the normal stuff, inner and outer rockers, cab corners, cab mounts, patched a few spots in the bottoms of the doors and replaced the front bed panel , rear wheel tubs and tailgate, all of the rest of the metal is the original metal to the truck

Thumbs up Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

It looked pretty sweet in its day! Great one to build from being in the fam and all!

So seeing your pictures of your ground clearance at ride hight, what suspension travel did you end up with and how do you like the ride? I'm using the same air suspension setup and aren't really sure how much travel to set it up for.

I appreciate your skill and craftsmanship o' proud owner of the next TOTM!

i had quet hope that going trough some heatcycles and having the oil pumped round a bit would solve it , did you checked the filter and wat kindof junk is laying in the oilpan yet ? chainging the oil and the filter in it and giving it a flush might still solve it , i heared the thingy at the end of the tv cable gets stuck sumtimes too

i had some links in my favorites on the subject maibe they help :
