Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
I created a monster!
![]() I thought your truck was kick a** the first time I saw it and it looks nothing like it does today which is even better...of course you were getting 'er done like the good ole days before the interwebs. Just word of mouth, gearhead-to-gearhead, and magazine learnin'. I was trying to remember the other day why I stopped by, if I bought or sold something to you...must have been Craigslist. At any rate, glad I did!

Best get a move on. You have to go from 9 years to 9 months.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Yes Grandpa took very good care of the truck ! we replaced all of the normal stuff, inner and outer rockers, cab corners, cab mounts, patched a few spots in the bottoms of the doors and replaced the front bed panel , rear wheel tubs and tailgate, all of the rest of the metal is the original metal to the truck

It looked pretty sweet in its day! Great one to build from being in the fam and all!
So seeing your pictures of your ground clearance at ride hight, what suspension travel did you end up with and how do you like the ride? I'm using the same air suspension setup and aren't really sure how much travel to set it up for. I appreciate your skill and craftsmanship o' proud owner of the next TOTM! |
