Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

Any idea which wheels you will run?

I assume it will have this stance and a big lip rear wheel?

Cool wheel.
Do they offer a soft lip version instead of the step lip?

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

i still think you should paint the blazer and if possible the trailer in the same colourscheme as cloud 9 , you mentioned that you wanted to use the blazer to tow cloud 9 to the shows , it would look awesome going down the road and the blazer will look good in those colours too , besides you prolly park them together to show of the tubs

the wheels look like the ones that used to be in the front on old funny cars

i think the where made from magnesium in those days

Like the wheels!...not real keen on the spinner cap though....
Also agree a soft lip would look better)
Is the center finish an option (polished/silver(what it looks like)/anthracite/or color coded)

I like spinners on some wheels...this one has enough going on where it just covers up some of the details and looks a little "cluttered" imho But we've seen what you think about my opinion (pinch/gold) j/k man...do what you like...you put together a unique show quality truck last time so I have every confidence you will again!

Oh...that reminds me...this one has a loooong pinch weld area that would look really good shaved off.....I told you early enough this time

Just a question about the name--- is your wife Peg or Margaret or just a fan of the 80/90's show "Square Pegs"? Inquiring minds. That kind of thing.

Well i steam cleaned/degreased for about 3 hours last night !! I think i have it just about clean enough for disassembly to start ! I layed under it and cleaned the floor and everything, i am pumped about how clean the body is !! I did however find one rust hole in the drivers rocker panel about the size of a pencil eraser . Here are some before bath pictures !
