What lock cylinder did you use for this? I am wanting to do something similar with my build but my donor came with no doors. However, from what I see the lock cylinder is actually in the handle portion. Is that what you used? You removed the lock cylinder from the door handle and installed in your door?

2 coats DP 50 epoxy primer followed by K36

Primer bed this weekend then complete tear down to start painting firewall and jams.

Very nice. The chassis looks great. I like how you used a lot of the interior controls switches and custom mounted them in the steel dash.

Thanks. It makes using the 2003 wire harness easier because except the vintage AC unit everything else is direct plug in so should have hopefully very little issues.

The wiring so far has bee no issue. The way I'm doing this project I am retaining all of the 2003 wire harness and using all of the 2003 components so it remains plug and play. The only thing that I need to Separate off the wire harness is the AC unit. This all required more fab work to fit all the 2003 components and wiring into the body but it retains all the functions. I think I'll have the only 70 Chevy with air bags. Lol
