Re: My 72 gmc build
More pictures to come. These were all I have on my iPad right now. On a side note, how do I put multiple pictures in one post? This one-picture per post thing is kind of annoying.

Re: My 72 gmc build
Sweet!!! Glad to see it almost done!
If you have a photobucket or similar Image hosting site, just upload them there and then get the img embed code and you can paste them into a post. Hope this helps |

Re: My 72 gmc build
I hope you don't mind if I save that pic, it looks great! I have an album pushing 500 pics of just 67-72 trucks and yours is worthy of the top 10

I definitely need something other than the steelies it has now. I may find a set of aluminum mag wheels for it

Re: My 72 gmc build
Paint those steelies up white and a set of caps, it will look great!
I will see if I can share the album from photobucket, it has been a pain lately so no promises. |

Re: My 72 gmc build
That's what I was thinking. The steel wheels would really keep it looking like an old farm truck, which is what I'm going for

Re: My 72 gmc build
I'm glad you are keeping the steelies, they look great! Just needs some paint/powdercoat and maybe some caps and call it good!

Re: My 72 gmc build
Y'all will probably think this is neat. In kansas, you can register an antique vehicle with a year-of manufacturer license plate. I always thought it would be a cool personal touch for my old truck. My mom had made me a deal that if I found one, she would buy it for me for my 18th birthday. Well, by sheer luck, I found one FROM MY HOME COUNTY. So naturally I ordered it.
As soon as I can go down to the courthouse, I'll be able to run it as my actual tag |

Re: My 72 gmc build
More pictures later, but I do have a question about installing a battery kill switch in my cab on the dash. Does anyone have any suggestions on doing this or links to threads about this?

Re: My 72 gmc build
I would look in the security thread in the truck subforum, I saw a guy turn the cig lighter slot into a kill switch, I like that idea alot! It is inconspicuous, won't look out of place tok much.
