Man if you were lucky enough to buy such a good example of a 67/72 truck, what on earth makes you decide to get rid a few weeks later?

Re: Just Picked Up my First 67-72 C10 - LOTS of Pics!
Well in his first post of this thread he states
[I buy/sell/trade cars often, but I think I might keep this one for a while:] So he's seen how well this truck is going over and decided to sell it instead. No big deal, it's what he does.

Re: Just Picked Up my First 67-72 C10 - LOTS of Pics!
Thanks for all the compliments folks - I drove the truck ~100 miles to a car show last weekend in Concord, NC. It was an absolute pleasure and didn't give a bit of trouble. Lots of folks loved it - the attention to detail is what gets the big grins.
70cst - before I put the truck up officially for sale, I will certainly dress in blue and be a proud site supporter. Quote:

Re: Just Picked Up my First 67-72 C10 - LOTS of Pics!
[QUOTE=Dave, I haven't been able to find anything out on it yet. I think it may be custom, although I'll investigate further and get back with you.
Thanks again guys![/QUOTE] Very good it may very well be custom. I like how it fits low and sleek. Even if there is no info on a brand name maybe you could get us some more info like what it is made from (aluminum) and some underside photos. Good luck with your decisions as they will be tough. Thanks again Dave

Just wanted to let everybody know that I'm now formally "dressed in blue" here on this site, and I'll be putting the truck up for sale officially on New Years Day.
Thanks again for all your compliments guys! |

Re: Just Picked Up my First 67-72 C10 - LOTS of Pics!
That a nice truck, but what i can see that gn in the back ground looks better. Show some pics of the GN with the GNX wheels.
Still a nice truck tho.

If I had that truck you'd have to pry the keys from my cold, dead fingers before I let it go...

Re: Just Picked Up my First 67-72 C10 - LOTS of Pics!
Yes...I was just noticing that and back to the "family". This is one very nice looking truck and should be a center piece for you to draw in potential buyers for your other vehicles. 1970 C10's rock and by far the nicest looking model year. JMHO
