Did you have original black plates on your truck? If so, and you had both of them, are you willing to sell? I'm missing my front plate and if I ever get pulled over, I will have to re-register with new plates...

I have two or three complete sets of yellow letters on black background plates. I could probably be convinced to sell one pair. I don't know if DMV will let you re-register them though (they haven't in the past...CHP complained that the letters were not reflective). However you know that that the CA DMV will be reissuing yellow on black plates by special request staring in January-ish? DMV sometimes does things right! See the info here...

The reissue plates are not even close (same color, I guess). Anyway, are they truck plates (one letter, five numerals) or car plates (three letters, three numerals)? How much do you want for your best set of truck plates? Do you have a photo?
