Re: Life advice
well this was a lesson in human development and the interaction between man and woman...
those cold hearted members who said - tell her to move to a paved road, or tell her to walk to it, will have an easier time in their marriage those limp wristed bleeding hearts who said - aww just get your truck dirty, its only a truck, or your truck wont love you back so just go get her, will undoubtfuly have it difficult because the more you give up of yourself the less you will have. Stick to your gut, be mean and keep your truck nice... because if you give in and play nice, she'll eventually own half of it. youre only 21, there will be hundreds of more women in your future all living on paved roads. hang tuff!

Stick to your gut, be mean and keep your truck nice... because if you give in and play nice, she'll eventually own half of it. 1/2 of it?? She'll own ALL of it after the divorce about her not having a job and sitting around watching the stories...Oh, by the way, you need to buy more Doritoes...After you get back from your second job to buy truck stuff, she will be nagging you about being in the garage again..Sounds like child support is in your future dude.. |

You could be one of those guys, that says: I am the boss of my house and I have my wife's permission to say so. Then again maybe not.

Re: Life advice
The way I see it ya got 2 choices. You can go get her and get the truck a lil dirty.Or not.
Or you can get a lawn chair and a rag so you will have the Street Rodders Show Kit. You're on your own about the girl.

Re: Life advice
alright ive read alot of these threads but i laughed my a$$ off on some of the replies to funny. you quys should also think about this. he lives in kansas. kansas roads suc really bad. if its a dirt road and its rained alot and its as bad as some i have driven then he probably should not drive down it for any reason what so ever. not if its lowered. he would more than likely get stuck and probably tear the heck out of it, trying to get down. kansas mud can be real bad. you ve seen the mud bogin pits were do you think they come from.. lol.. lol...

Re: Life advice
Go pick her up, but then ask her wash it evertime after driving down that road. Then you will realize how much she really cares about you. She dosen'
t even have to do it just ask to see what she will say. It is a compromise that is required in all relationships. |

Re: Life advice
Wow, I got a lot of......mixed responses there.
I agree with the lot of you, my truck is damn near all I got. So I got to take car of it. But on the other hand. She loves me, and....I tolerate her because she puts out. When her and I first got together I put it out there exactly who I was. I work over 60 hours a week 6 or 7 days a week, I still live with my parents so I can afford to go to school, my truck is all I have so Im NOT gonna do anything to put it in harms way, and when I come home Im so tired I dont do anything but sit on front of the TV or play video games, Im poor so I wont be able to get you everything you want. Then I went on to tell her how happy I was that she had a job and can take care of herself. Because I watched my younger brother move out with a girl who didnt....she didnt even have a drivers license. And my brother gave up so much to be with her. He pawned or sold everything he owned just so they could eat. And theres no way in hell I would do anything close to that! After meeting her parents I told her how happy I was she drove because I will NOT drive my truck down dirt roads. But since she lost her job, its like....she just gave up. She hasnt even been out looking for a new job, she spends most of her time at her friends mooching off her parents. Then she just expects me to come pick her up when ever she wants to see me. And she cant move in with me because I still live with my parents....that and my parents dont like her. The main reson I wrote that up is because I spent the WHOLE day before (my only day off in over 2 weeks) cleaning/ tuning up/ cleaning/ waxing/ vacuuming/ and cleaning my truck. So she knew how hard and how long it took me to do all that. Then she had the audacity to ask me to drive down a swamp road to come get her. It just pissed me off. One of her friends ended up driving her down to the end of the road and I went and got her.

I can't believe you made me go to myspace... But on the bright side I found three SWFs within 50 miles of my home, near my age, who are looking for casual relationships. Not sure if they live on dirt or paved roads though, will have to find that out, .

Re: Life advice
Slammed 70,
I have a lot of kids ranging from 16 to 22 and I have told them this. Look for what you want in a mate and go for it. But remember this, if you want anything in life its going to take two realy good incomes to have it. You can call this gold digging or what ever you want to call it. I personally call it good planning for the future. There are a lot of women out there and not many of these trucks in comparison. If I were you if your going to stick it out with your girlfiend I would get another truck as a daily driver and put the good one away for good weather and shows. I wouldn't get rid of the truck. Good Luck and Merry Christmas JRB |

IMHO that girl seems way too into herself to care about his stupid truck, just look at her mayspace thingy and you'll see what i mean. I think i see a picture of it in there wrapped around a tree and her dancing on the roof, if you look closely you'll see.

Re: Life advice
Drop that bish like a bad habit and move on. You're obviously only with her to get some action. There's plenty of other girls. You're gonna go through a dry spell, only question is how long? Take the plunge and see what happens. You may find someone ten times better than her.

Re: Life advice
Thought about it overnight. You have 3 options:
1. Drive the truck-there meant to be driven and she will love you. 2. Cough some gas $ mr. cheapo 3. Start looking for strange. |
