Re: static drop pics
You nailed the stance! Looks Perfect!!! Thats exactly how I want mine to look but green.
How bad does the tires scrub? How did you do the 5 lug swap on the rear? conversion axles or swap to newer housing? What brand are the parts you used? ECE? CPP? Sorry for all questions.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Here is mine.
3" up front with coils and 4" out back with coils and added air bags inside springs to make it ride better. Wheels are 20" all around. 8 1/2" wide fronts, 10" out back with a 3/8" spacer.

Thats the same configuration I've got in the front now and am trying to sort out what tires would match well with the 295s and work well without having to raise the front back up a bit

Re: static drop pics
Hey this is exactly how i want my truck set up. Perfect. What way did you go about lowering it.Im considering the same drop, 5.5/7. Do you have any problems rubbing in turns with the 20's. Can i get the specs on the wheels too. Are they 8 in the front 10 in the rear? Any help will be great.Thanks.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
I have a quick question. Working on my new project- 72 GMC. It appears to have some static drop, but how can I tell how much the drop is? The front fender measures 31 inches from the ground to bottom of fender. I have 20'' wheels. I would like to go about 2 '' lower. What are my options? I don't know if it has a drop spindle or not.....learning!

does not look like it has drop spindles, too much clearance in the front, do a 2.5" drop in the front you can lower the rear after you do the front so you can get the stance you want. |

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Take a picture of the spindle and post it up.
Very easy to identify. See below: Drop spindle on the right,...

Re: static drop pics
4.5/6 from ECE 20x8.5 20x10 I would love to go an extra inch all the way around to really set off the looks but I think it will be a mistake for as much as I drive the truck. It rides really nice right now and I have only scrubbed the inner fenders once on a big freeway bump and only hit the axel on the frame twice going over train tracks. Not to mention I am going to add LT headers and I think I will end up dragging the collectors.
