Re: JWall's 72 C-10
Underhood turned out very nice. Where did you get the floor mats from?

Wow, great looking truck! Good luck at the show I'm sure it will get a lot of attention. After the show let us know how it was and if the pictures are posted online anywhere.

Re: JWall's 72 C-10
Wow, under the hood turned out amazing; nice work!
On the CCC; do they already have a hold made for the antenna? I'm guessing on the one you put on your truck you had to add a hole to accomodate the different location for your '72, but I've been considering looking into their covers.

Re: JWall's 72 C-10
When you order a cover it comes with no antenna hole but with an antenna grommet.
You poke a hole and install the grommet where ever your antenna is. Yes, since I am using the cover from my 94 I called up CCC and they sent me a couple grommets & I installed another one for the 72. Last edited by JWall; 02-08-2010 at 10:25 AM. |

Re: JWall's 72 C-10
Man I'm behind. I didn't even know you sold your 97, and now to find out you have this going now. Man this is one awesome truck. Great work on the little details under the hood. It looks amazing.
I also noticed in your Boomer Sooner shot that you had a Tony Stewart #14 flag on the wall. My wife is a huge Tony Stewart fan. Half of our garage is covered in his old Home Depot stuff. Which could have caused a battle since Home Depot is one of my biggest competitors. Good luck in the show, and like was stated before post up some pics, or a link to where they are. |

JohnC -
Yeah I am a big OU fan and have always been a Tony fan but hadnt decked out the garage w/ Home Depot Stuff because the orange & black was too OSU for me. So I was glad when his name sponsors colors were red. I usually shoot photos @ the shows for a buddies website but his wife is having health issues so I'm not sure how long the site will be up. I need a little more webpage knowledge I would love to have a site with Oklahoma show coverage and car show dates. If his site is not up, I have a few other sites to host the coverage & I will let you all know when they are up. |

Re: JWall's 72 C-10
Those are 88-98 sport truck wheel center caps with a decal I had made to eliminate the gold bowtie.

Excellent looking truck. I'm sure you've gotten a lot of on-lookers driving around.
I need to acquire the services of JohnC I guess to keep an eye on mine. My truck is in Noble right now at the paint shop. |

Question for you, how did you attach those center caps to the wheels? From your pics, it looks like you're using the stock style crome 1972 style lug nuts. Thanks, Miles |

Re: JWall's 72 C-10
They are attached from the back side. There are little tabs on the back of the caps you can thread a screw into, you put the screws on from the back of the wheel going thru the hole in rally for the bolt that hold on the earlier style cap.
