Re: Crew SWB

LOL, he owns the body shop I use all the time, and he said you should get that 5.3 motor out of that Z71 out side and put it in there...I already made money on parting that truck out so you can have it... now i have a decision to make...

Thanks Wiggles!

Re: Crew SWB

IDK, I'd almost have to put the big block back in it if it were mine.

Re: Crew SWB

Perfect decision. That crew is just right with a BBC in it. But...the Burb will go to the next level with the 5.3. Smoothed & painted engine covers. MmmmmHmmmm.

Re: Crew SWB

I like the contrast of the Copper with the aluminum and cast gray colors. Very classy combo. Would be awesome in an all black engine bay.

Re: Crew SWB

If you weren't running a serp setup, I would suggest Alan Grove brackets, they are low mount and virtually invisible when the hood is open.

Re: Crew SWB

technically that isn't a serpentine, it is a ribbed belt/v-belt combo.
An actual serpentine set up would be a bit smaller and cleaner. There is a kit out there that allows you to run a small block serpentine set up on a big block. If you are interested I can find out who has it.....

Your engine is beautiful by the way. Is that grey a high heat paint as well. I would like to do my block that color.
