"Hot rods" come in all shapes and sizes, but to me it typically means pre-40's...and I would venture to say most of those didn't make over 300HP...especially the TRUE hot rods built immediately following WWII.

here is mine. not a dd, but it is fun to drive. prostreet is the way to go if you ask me, just my opinion. see the two fords rusting in the background lol.

Hot rod means so much more than speed to me. I mean in reality I’ve seen modern electric cars (is it Tesla?) out accelerating exotic super cars like Lamborghinis but I think the emotions these cars give us is a big factor. Not many cars have ever made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck when I turn that ignition key like my 69 c10 does
