Re: My 1966 Chevy c-10

Okay heres and update. my dad and my grandpa helped me put the motor in over the weekend. got her to light up. lots of tuning to do before i can actually drive yet. i got the throttle control figured out as well. ill post a video of how she sounds. i will say it scared me when she first fired up! ha it was fun watching things fall off the walls in the garage.

Re: My 1966 Chevy c-10

My plans arent too intensive. right now im focusing on blocking and preping for paint. already patched panels, redid suspension, engine, column, and seats and what not. basically all that is left is blocking and painting... which ive been doing in my spare time this winter break.. which hasnt been much cause of work (fyi paying for college and trying to restore a truck is really hard hahaha) fingers crossed ill get it painted spring break! (pearl white top, aqua/turqouise metalic for the rest)

Re: My 1966 Chevy c-10

Cool kit. SJC hit me up to see if we could work out an endorsement deal with them right now, but it looks it's going to be a while before I can afford one. All my money is going to finishing up the truck lol. Sorry for getting off topic

I really dig the thomas cooler tho. I checked out your thread on it, and that's a pretty clever design. Cool find.

That's cool man. haha for me right now its either touring or working on the truck and nothing else. I really like that band. I'm the touring drummer right now for a Pop/Punk band called Page 9.

Re: My 1966 Chevy c-10

I like the build. I'm using those headers on my 230 I-6, and I am going to use the offy intake and 390 holley carb. I've been looking at your cable setup becuase I will also have to figure out the throttle.
