my67chevytruck---Were you going to install two buckets (you would need 4 brackets) by themselves? Or use the long bucket frames?

I'm not sure if those will work for me. I need to do some measuring first. I'll let you know and thanks for offering.

You wouldn't be willing to ship it, would you (on my dime of course)?

i'm sure it would cost more to ship it than it's worth, but if you can find someone going your direction, maybe we can work it out that way.

Is there a market for frames? I have been considering making some since I have one apart right now. How much would you guys be willing to pay for a frame?

How about a "kit" that would allow two buckets ('67-'68 buddy, '69-'72, or other bucket) to be mounted to the two existing outside bench seat mounting points (any easy way to add buckets to a non-bucket truck)? If the "kit" included short seat track to slide the seats forward and back all the much better. The kit would be worth at least as much as a set of factory '69-'72 bucket seat track. Just an idea...

Re: Buddy Bucket frame needed - measurements or for sale...

Buddy buckets do mount to the bench seat mounts... or do you mean individual buddy bucket seats themselves?

They do mount in the same holes as a bench.

Re: Buddy Bucket frame needed - measurements or for sale...

I believe bad peanut was asking/suggesting a buddy bucket type frame that would accomodate buddy buckets as well as truck/blazer type buckets with sliders for adjustability (would have to work out the console mounting to the frame?), so owners could utilize the already enforced bench hole mounts instead , of two seperate bucket mounts that would require reinforcements.

my67chevytruck states my idea more clearly than I was able to.

This would allow a person to use newer less worn out bucket seats in our trucks but mount them in an original fashion without having to add additional reinforcements to the floor.

Re: Buddy Bucket frame needed - measurements or for sale...

There could be a market for the frames and as long as the center section was provided. I have mocked up a set before for fabrication. Thought about it very very long and hard. Not enought time or resources on this end.
Price point: $300 for the frame. Maybe?
