My bet was in pennies and as long as no one tells LIZ or Josh I think it's ok!

Re: Cheyenne super sport?

dude.... that is a STEAL
You may wanna reconsider. If it is mechanicly sound, then you can drive it as you learn to fix it.
If it is being bought as a toy, then you can park it and learn.
That truck should sell in NO TIME at that price.

Re: Cheyenne super sport?

It seems like I remember someone posting pics of that same truck on here a while back. As I recall the owner was pretty proud of it and the rust was extremely bad.

I like the color combo though!

I remember that also. I seem to remember the motor looked like it hadn't ran in a while and there wasn't much interior in it.

Re: Cheyenne super sport?

Wholotta potential/wholotta work/wholotta moolah to do it.Not always a combo we can all deal with.I`d sure love to have it.It appears to have a wholotta options.

Do you guys think if I had some factory looking Super Spor stickers made people would buy them?

That ochre SPID almost is exactly the same as my old ochre`71 CustomCamper. It had CustomSportTruck on there and 396.It was a Cheyenne and had a 402.Never had badges for either.

Re: Cheyenne super sport?

Question...
Were the SPID's hand typed and then entered into some type of automatic printer? I can see the Super Spor...do you think they got the Custom Sport confused with the Super Sport option? I agree these SPID have all sorts of unique typos...as mentioned my 70cst has a factory 402BB but the SPID says 396. Not unusual but incorrect. This is a nicely optioned truck. The AM/FM 8 Track combo is worth $300-500 by itself I would think.

Re: Cheyenne super sport?

I have a folder for SPIDs,too.I lost all my pictures earlier this year.Trying to build it back up.It`s great to see all the combos. It`s pretty rare to find two alike.

Re: Cheyenne super sport?

I have a question. I have a 1972 Super Cheyenne that I need to sell so I was doing a bit of research and came across this discussion. I have attached the sticker that is attached to the glove box for reference. The truck has a 402 engine and 400 transmission. It has labels of Cheyenne Super on the sides and on the interior glovebox. It is all original and has the blazer interior although worn. Is what I have unique enough that I just shouldn't sell it as a work truck and if so where do I find a buyer?

I think your question may be dangaling dangerously close to a "Whats It Worth" ad, you must be a subscribing member to post what its worth ads or for sale ads although im sure a admin will edit your post if necesary,
